No matter how different, we all agree that our daily walk to the neighborhood Dukkan is one of our best memories as children. Discovering new candy flavors was our passion, now as we get older our old habits have grown up with us. And happy feelings linked to our daily walk to Al Dukkan and a bag full of candy snacks! With our sedentary lifestyle and the excessive use of fast food in our diet, many of us began to suffer from chronic diseases at a young age compared to the older generations. The treatment and prevention in adopting a healthy and balanced diet ensures that you get the nutrients your body needs to maintain good health from their natural sources such as fruits and vegetables, but talking is always easier than applying!
With our fast-paced modern lifestyle, it is difficult to eat fresh fruits anywhere and any time, Especially since we as adults spend about 70% of our day outside the home, And the presence of many misleading products that are promoted as healthy, despite containing many industrial additives that lose their nutritional value, did not make the task easy. From here, our idea began to establish DFruit project, which offers delicious, healthy, dried fruits and vegetables without any artificial additives or preservatives that are easy to eat at home, at work, in travel and everywhere.
We started as a family business in a small shop in Al Rawda neighborhood in Jeddah in 2011 by drying pineapple and mango because they are the most delicious fruits that are difficult to eat. But the shop closed its doors in 2013 due to unexpectedly high demand and insufficient workforce to keep up with the sudden expansion and demand.
In 2015, we opened the first Dfruit branch in its current form in the Red Sea Mall - Jeddah in conjunction with the opening of a factory and the diversity of products to include dried vegetables, nuts and grains in addition to the distinctive flavors of dried fruits.
In 2017, the second branch was opened on Batterjee Street in Jeddah, followed by the opening of the Al-Rawda neighborhood branch in 2019, then the opening of both branches of Al-Yasmeen Mall in Jeddah and the branch of Makkah Mall in Makkah in 2020, in addition to the opening of the online store.
Currently, our products are present in many clinics, universities and more than 20 supermarkets to be closer to you and accessible to you than ever before. Despite our expansion, we still sanctify family ties and seek to change our unhealthy lifestyle and the culture of snacks in our society.
